Good afternoon all! I pray that each of you  have had a blessed Christmas and the new year has been a huge blessing to you all!!

It has been a while since I have wrote and i am sorry for that! Life has had a way of really passing me by and my time seems to be more and more taken up.

There has been much work going on here at the little homestead, we have done as much canning this past year as possible. Well over 1200 jars of food has been put up this year. Not as much as i would like but hey it is a start right. We have been blessed with one milking goat and also two other goats that will in time be able to be milked. We have expanded with a small billy goat but he is more a pet than a goat. The farm is also blessed with chickens, duck and three mini pigs that will also be raised to use for breeders. And now we are waiting to expand our farm with three wonderful breeder rabbits.

The coming months will be working on expanding our garden area for more food, expanding the other garden area for more herbs for medical use and kitchen use. Working on boxing in our porch to make a area  for the kids to have there tv and games. And we will be working on getting more animals to expand the farm.

The children are doing good. Elizabeth just got back from ohio where she spent time with some dear friends of our. She had a blassed. Jackie and Becky are still working at the barn and taking care of animals. Steven and james are still working at the store and they are now part of the volinteer fire dept. They love it and i am thrilled at the fact that they are giving back to our local area. they will seen start their training to drive the trucks then they will have training for medical calls. I am so proud of each one of my children.

Christmas for us was a simple one. We made most of our christmas gifts and tried to make it a simple one and i have to admit it loved the fact that it was so simple.

As far as mom goes well i am just doing what i feel god is leading me to do. Stay home as much as possible and take care of my home and family. I just got over the flu and well to say the least i dont want that again. But other than that god is in control of everything.

That gives you a little bit about the going on around here. I will do my best to update pictures and add more about the farm and the daily events of our little place.

Remember in all things great and small god is in control!!! Have a blessed day all<3 font="font">
