Cleaning the house today

today has been a busy day.... the girls and i have got a lot of work done. We moved the living room around along with the kitchen area.

Along with that today we got the two baby goats that have been in the house placed in the barn..

Dinner tonight was chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans.

All the animals are all doing great.. Growing like weeds.. I feel so blessed that god has given me this life...

Monday i will work on cleaning up and out my room.  We have already gathered up 6 large boxes of yard sale, thrift store boxes of items.. it is amazing how much one can gather up when you start cleaning up and out..

Well all time to get up and get busy again..

simple joy

Hello all..

This has been another beautiful day here on the farm.

Lots of work was done around the farm. To start with we made homemade whole wheat noodles and we were able to store in the pantry our taco stew that we canned last night..

Misty one of our milking goats is still not giving off very much milk but i am thankful for what little bit she is giving. I am praying that soon between the two milking goats we will get enough milk to make cheese and other things with..

Dinner tonight was homemade stroganoff and fresh bread. I have to admit it was amazing...

The girls and i did some more cleaning in the yard today. Finished cutting down the monkey grass so that it can grow back and look good.. also removed the hedge that has needed to be removed for awhile.  Still need to cutdown the rose bushes that have died over the winter time and trim up a few more trees etc.

All the baby goats are doing great... Growing like little weeds..

Other plans for the household is moving the living room around. We want it to be where we an open the windows up and allow the air to blow inside the house better. We also need to work on easier floor plan...

As we are cleaning and moving things around we are gathering things up to give to the local areas for those in need.. it is a two fold blessing we get rid of things we honestly don't need and we clean up and clear out those items. Plus it will fill the needs of others...

On tomorrows list there is english muffins to get made, flour tortillas and homemade bread. If the rain is not to bad in  our area we will do a little work on the outside again.. We need to burn off some of the wood junk and limbs that have fallen over the winter time...

I pray that each of you have a blessed night.

life on the farm...

Tuesday farm blessings

Good Wednesday all!! Oh what a beautiful day here on the farm.

The girls are out moving old hay into the pigs area and chicken yard. I have bread rising on the stove. A pot of taco stew cooking.. The house feels so sweet. The windows are open with a nice breeze sweeping throughout. All four baby goats are doing great. Laundry drying on the line just swaying back and forth.. Yea I think this is what the definition of peace is..

went out and milked the one momma goat this morning it is just peaceful to be able to sit there and know where our supplies are coming from.

next on the list for the day is to work on moving things for the pallet garden. We already have the bigger garden all planned out. It will mostly be for green beans and corn. The pallet garden will be for things like okra, spices, cucumbers, carrots simple things like that.

Bread is in the oven baking up nicely.  looking over the food pantry and thinking of re working the menu once again.. i want to see just how long i can go without buying anything from the store.. or at least keep it at a very low amount like 20 for a whole month..

Another great blessing that is happening today is a neighbor asked me if i wanted his goose.. so soon we will get a wonderful new addition...

It so warms my heart that the little farm just keeps growing..It wasn't that long ago i prayed lord is my dream gone.. it took a while but the lord returned everything plus more.. what was once lost was returned in three folds..
