My day started out at 5am... There was breakfast to cook and family members to wake up...
I have been working on my menu plans and getting back in the habit of making and using it.. It's funny how we have a habit of allowing what's going on around us to mess with our normal way of life.. I know some might not understand this but having a daily list of things I need to get done and a menu of the foods I will cook and prepare makes my life so much easier.. And it also helps me keep my budget intact!!
The farm animals here are doing good.. We have one goat now.. One pony... Three piggies.. A bunny... And heavens j can't tell you the exact number of chickens, ducks and geese.. I will say not enough however...
My mind has been thinking about the garden for the year... Our pantry has taken a good hit this past winter so that means I need to really amp of my food storage this summer and fall... Things I really need are green beans, potatoes, tomatoes, meat etc... I am hoping I can get a small chest freezer to go into the house to store more meats and vegs!! That would help the budget also!!

My oldest daughter and son in law are blessing me with my first grandbaby!! It's a little girl!! My daughter Elizabeth looks so cute pregnant!!
We added a new family member to our house.. His name is Dominic.. He is such a sweet puppy!! All of his human and animals brother and sisters love him!!
